The project for the construction of the permanent Exhibition of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Foundation Collection in Milan, built a relation with the existing implant according to the principle of the graft, articulating a dialectical relationship between the existing and the new: a new functional utility and a sense contemporary décor enhance the historic building stock. The intervention consists in a box inside the given container, the south aisle of the ex-industrial complex. The arrangement proposed is an “exhibition landscape” changing over time, which respects the environment and enhances it.
