Limited edition of natural stone (ceppo lombardo) and copper vases realized by ALIMONTI MILANO for POTAFIORI.

VASI MILANO is the new limited edition and numbered series of flowerpots created by the collaboration between POTAFIORI, a well-known flower shop with restaurant in Milan, and ALIMONTI MILANO, an historic company in the production of marble, onyx and semiprecious. The series consists of three cylindrical jars of different sizes, each consisting of two elements: an external natural stone container and an inner pot made of copper. The natural stone called ceppo lombardo has been chosen because it is one of the materials that make up the interior of POTAFIORI and is undoubtedly the most characteristic coating material of the 1950s Milan facades. The outer container, obtained from a single block of rough stone, has been first internally digitally processed and then externally to be hand-finished. Instead, the inner container, made of copper, consists of a welded tube at the base.
